REUSE AND REDUCE

Due to the steadily increasing production of consumer goods and our need for new or „better“ stuff, a rising mountain of garbage is created.

The resulting consequences force us to rethink many areas in our life, including furniture production and design.

FROM OLD TO NEW

we have to learn to use the materials that are already there – we have enough – namely in the form of produced waste – we just have to rethink and reinterpret them in order to exploit their full potential.

The Idea

REUSE

Creating furniture from the granules of old scrapped tires – or all kinds of rubber waste.

Why?

In the future we will struggle more an more with the waste we produce due to our constant „need“ for new consumer goods – through new innovative ideas we could introduce „old“ materials into new areas and therefore exploit their full potential through

reinterpretation

New use: Furniture and Decorations

Sizes

VARIABLE

Three sizes: Small, Medium and Large.

From a small decorative side table to a living room table. In order to reduce weight and save material, the sizes M and L have been designed with hollow spaces inside.

Production

Rubber granulate is pressed with a binding agent in a mold under high pressure (same method as for Anti-Slip Mats, but special mold for desired form required).
